Every day Clara gives me fodder that I will be able to use for years to come to make fun of her.

I was putting Clara down to bed the other night and I kindly reminded her that her light stays off when I leave instead of staying on for hours upon hours reading books to herself. She said to me, "I am going to cover my eyes when you leave." I asked her what she was planning on covering her eyes with and she said, "These things, these things right here" as she points to her eyelids.

Today we dropped Grandpa off at the train station so he could meet Matt downtown to go to a White Sox/Yankees game. She was SO sad that she could not go to the game with her Daddy and Grandpa, her absolute two favorite people. She asked if she could go to a game tomorrow and if she could wear her special shirt like Grandpa (who donned his usual jersey to attend the game). I actually broke my heart how sad she was that she could not go! Matt said that we need to take her to a Schaumburg Flyers game. She would love that!
